How often have you received a wedding invitation from a friend or relative and didn't know what to get as a wedding gift? Many people struggle to select a gift that they feel the bride and groom will enjoy. That's the reason Bridal Registries were invented. Typically, couples "register" or put together a list of gifts they would like to receive at a local department store and wedding guests are able to choose from the list of gifts, thereby getting something they know the couple would like to receive.

Today's brides and grooms have often been out on their own keeping a house for a number of years, so they may not need many of the material household items newly married couples needed in the past. The Photo Gift Registry allows friends and relatives to purchase additional wedding photography coverage, wedding photographs, and album products for the wedding couple - a great gift idea for those out of town guests that really don't know what the couple may desire or for anyone wanting to give a gift they know the couple will be delighted with. Other than the new husband or wife and the wedding dress, photographs are often the thing most treasured after the wedding. Elliott Hamilton is a storyteller with a camera. In addition to the traditional posed images, as a "photo-historian", he captures the little moments that tell the story of what actually happened - the natural, fun, spontaneous, unexpected moments - images that will help the couple relive their wedding day over and over again.

With the Photo Gift Registry friends and relatives can now select gifts that document and preserve the couple's wedding memories. This is a gift that will never be returned and will be treasured for years to come! The bride and groom simply hand out or mail to friends and family who they select a description of the Photo Gift Registry program along with a list of their desired gifts and two coupons where the gift-giver can indicate their gift selection. Gift-givers who choose to participate simply mail one of the coupons with their payment to Elliott Hamilton Photography and present the other coupon to the wedding couple. Photo Gift Registry items may be purchased in any amount beginning at $24.99. The bride and groom may call at any time to verify registry purchases; however, gift-giver's names will not be given. The gift-givers themselves present the second coupon listing their gift to the wedding couple personally.

Additional Photographic Coverage

Instead of just taking the typical, expected wedding images with the inherent missed moments Mr. Hamilton quietly observes and captures the uniqueness of each wedding. Much of the photography is done without the couple's active awareness as he quietly documents the little details that a couple puts into their wedding day. In addition to the traditional images, as a photo-historian, he also captures the fun, unexpected moments; the excitement and celebration with family and friends; the joy and happiness; the little moments that taken all together tell the story of one of the most important and joyful days of a couple's life. His goal is to tell their story. The result is photography that actually brings back the feelings and emotions of the day allowing the couple to relive their wedding day. Coverage can begin when the bride starts with hair and makeup and continue through the day until the couple leaves the reception and the lights are turned out - all the time capturing the natural happenings of the day; often averaging 40 - 50 images an hour of coverage. Since there is no way to go back and capture "missed moments" couples often desire extensive wedding day coverage.

Wedding Memories Album

These high quality albums are ideal for protecting and displaying the photographs of the couple's entire wedding day - their unique Wedding Day Story. Each album is capable of containing hundreds of "original photographs" to protect and preserve the day's complete documentation. Highly recommended since photographs, which are not stored in such an album, are often lost or damaged. Photographs may be placed in the album either vertically or horizontally so that all the images may be viewed without turning the album to view them properly. Each page displays 4 photographs so that when the album is opened 8 images may be viewed at one time.

Custom Designed Wedding Album

These high quality albums are available with covers of natural leathers or a classic man made material with a beautiful leather-like finish in a choice of colors. For this album, couples select their favorite images from the "original photographs" or "originals." When enlarged for inclusion in the album some images may be cropped or placed so as to "bring the image closer" and to exclude undesired areas. Larger photographs really make some images "come alive." "Originals" are used as a guide for selecting the couple's favorite moments and expressions. As part of his service, Mr. Hamilton is pleased to design the layout for the album. Using the photographs the couple selects and any input they may give, he chooses appropriate sizes and arranges the images to relate the couple's unique wedding story in a magazine style layout. Each album page will feature either a single full-page photograph, two half-page photographs, a half page photograph with one or two quarter-page photographs, four quarter page photographs, or in some cases three quarter page size photographs if that works better visually. The album is designed by blending the various sizes of photographs and grouping those that chronologically and visually work well together.

Reprints and Enlargements Package

After the wedding most couples find that they want to order reprints and enlargements. Many couples frame some of their favorite images to display in their home or give photographs to parents, family, and other close friends as gifts. If the "Reprints and Enlargements Package" is chosen prior to the wedding all photographs are discounted in price. Photographs are available from wallet size on up. "Reprint and Enlargement" Gift Certificates may be given in any amount beginning at $24.99. Typical photo "Reprint and Enlargement Packages" with associated discount pricing information is available to the couple prior to the wedding to assist them in putting together a hoped for reprint package in order to estimate the cost of their anticipated post-wedding reprint order. If the actual post-wedding reprint order exceeds the amount gifted any additional reprints and enlargements are available at the same discounted pricing as the rest of the package.

Parents/Family Albums

These high quality albums are available with covers of natural leathers or a classic man made material with a beautiful leather-like finish in a choice of colors. These are one-photograph-to-a-page albums. Each page features one 5"x7" photograph placed in the album either vertically or horizontally so that all the images may be viewed without turning the album to view them properly. For each "Parents/Family Album" the parent(s) or family select their favorite images from the "original photographs."
